Singpass Access Denied: If you are encountering Error Code F-102 or “Access Denied”, this usually indicates that your 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) token is out of sync or your account has been dormant for too long.

Before attempting to claim CDC vouchers, you must reset your Singpass password. Do not try to log in repeatedly with the wrong password, as this will lock your account for 12 hours.

For elderly users who have forgotten their credentials, the fastest fix is to visit a physical Singpass counter at any Community Centre (CC) rather than struggling with the online reset flow.

“Household Not Found”: This is the most common error for new BTO owners or recently moved tenants. The CDC Voucher system relies on the Verified NRIC address database.

If you moved recently, you must update your NRIC address at a police post or ICA building first. The system updates within 3 working days after your NRIC change. Trying to claim before this update will result in rejection.

SMS Link Deleted/Lost: If you successfully claimed the vouchers but accidentally deleted the SMS from “Gov.sg”, do not panic. The vouchers are tied to the household address, not just the phone number.

Solution: Any other household member can log in to go.gov.sg/cdcv with their own Singpass. They will see the same voucher links and can resend the SMS to themselves or you.

Why Was I Rejected? (Diagnostic)

Check these hidden criteria. If any of these apply, the automated system will reject your claim instantly.

✓
Head of Household Issue

You do not need to be the “Head of Household” to claim. Any member with a valid Singpass registered to that address can claim. However, if someone else claimed it first, you cannot claim again.

✓
Foreigner/PR Only Household

Households with only Permanent Residents (PRs) or Foreigners are not eligible automatically. You must file an appeal if you have a Singaporean family member who hasn’t updated their address yet.

✓
New Address Lag

Did you update your NRIC less than 48 hours ago? The database sync between ICA and the CDC system is not instant. Wait 3 days and try again.

✓
Dormant Singpass

If you haven’t used Singpass for 6 months, it may be flagged as dormant for security. You must perform a facial verification (Singpass Face Verification) to reactivate it.

How to get paper vouchers?

Visit CC with NRIC

Bring your NRIC to the nearest Community Centre. The staff will print physical paper vouchers for you. These function exactly like cash coupons.

Appeal & Recovery Timeline

If you need to file an appeal for missing vouchers or status correction, expect the following processing times.

Day 0: Submit Appeal Form

Visit vouchers.cdc.gov.sg and select “Appeals”. Submit proof of household composition (e.g., birth certs or tenancy agreement).

Day 3-5: Verification

The People’s Association (PA) officer verifies your documents against ICA records. You might receive a call for clarification.

Day 14: Outcome SMS

You will receive an SMS from “Gov.sg” or “PA” with the outcome. If approved, the voucher link is included in the SMS.

Day 21 (Max): Physical Collection

If the digital appeal fails or is complex, you may be invited to the CC to collect physical vouchers in person.

Security Alert

🚫
STOP: Do Not Pay for “Help”

Government agencies and CC staff will NEVER ask for your bank One-Time Password (OTP) or credit card details to “unlock” your vouchers. If someone asks for a fee to help you claim, it is a scam.

Technical FAQ

What if my NRIC address is overseas?
▼
Singaporeans with an overseas NRIC address are not eligible for CDC Vouchers as the scheme is intended to support cost of living for local households. You must reside in Singapore to claim.
Can I split the vouchers with my siblings?
▼
Yes. Once you receive the voucher link, you can share that same link via WhatsApp with your household members. The system updates the balance in real-time, so everyone sees the remaining amount.
I entered the wrong mobile number during claim.
▼
You cannot undo this yourself. The SMS has been sent to the wrong number. You must call the PA Contact Centre immediately at 6225 5322 to invalidate that link and request a reset.
Does resetting Singpass password reactivate it?
▼
Yes, for dormant accounts, a password reset (followed by a new login) is usually sufficient to reactivate the account. However, Face Verification is the most reliable method.
